Lundy

... is at the mouth of the Bristol Channel – about twenty miles west of Ilfracombe, and about a third of the way from Hartland Point (the south–western headland of Barnstaple and Bideford Bay), to St. Govan's Head, which is the southernmost point in Pembrokeshire.

It's just under four miles long (north to south) and about three–quarters of a mile across at its widest point (east to west). Lundy is an SSSI, famous for its puffins; its name is believed to be Old Norse for Puffin Island, although there are other theories. It has two lighthouses, and became a National Trust property in 1969.
